our new babies.

Finally I get to blog in my brand new MacBook Pro. My parents finally decided that after I graduated a month earlier than my senior class with straight As (btw. Don't doubt me. I told you I could do it!), getting an early internship at Meat+Potatoes, that I rightfully earned what I consider the starting point of my graphic arts career :) All I need is to upload all Adobe programs & I am completely set. We took a trip to Best Buy around three days ago to make the purchase & I even bumped into Damian! I have to admit though, Geek Squad didn't make me too happy, re-scheduling our internet service installation another two days after the initial date >:( It was an additional $195 to get in home service the least they can do is be there. All in all, along with the Bamboo Fun Tablet ($99), the router ($99), the Microsoft Office 08 Student Edition ($149), Incase ($35) & the Macbook itself ($2,000) the bill reached a cool $2,600+. Wanting a stable career is too expensive :(

On another note, since I'm not going to be around for awhile (a long while), I decided to get Jon a cat. An old co-worker of mine wasn't able to keep him & was going to bring him to the shelter, so since I already knew that the cat was a complete sweetheart, Jon & I knew that he'd be a perfect addition. We named him Soybean, on account he didn't really respond to his older name, & he seems to be used to it already :)

Jon absolutely adored him the moment they met :) Soybean is on hella'va smart one too. Potty trained & all. I wish all babies come out like that :( but here's a picture I barely had a chance to upload from our six flags trip.
